Russia's theft of Crimea confirmed its inferiority complex/”KrymSOS”
I will now assume that the insane decision to attack Crimea, to occupy Crimea, actually caused all the future troubles of Russia.
Putin himself opened a Pandora's box for Russia
The scale of these troubles (as if they went one after another) is precisely because of the theft of the Crimea, which was committed in 2014, but in reality it was planned for a very long time and carefully.
This theft from the point of view of rationality is completely incomprehensible , because the Russians do not get any benefit from the Crimea – they rested there more and better when the Crimea belonged to Ukraine.
Russia regularly spends a lot of money in Crimea, sanctions are tied to Crimea. And the very fact of the theft of the area, as it were, provokes the understanding that Russia is a criminal in the world. In the vast majority of states, no one recognizes this theft, and they will have to give it back after receiving all the bumps for this Crimea. washed a wallet with a powder box and 1.32 rubles, having several tens of thousands after appropriate manipulations. Therefore, a completely insane act.
The Kremlin's other world
The Russian leadership dared this crazy act. Why? Because, firstly, as Klyuchevsky said, if the Roman emperors went crazy with absolutism, why shouldn't the Russian emperors go crazy too? That is, they licked the mind, which, perhaps, the leadership of Russia once had.
And, besides, of course, all sorts of historical manias. People living in a bunker, terrified of everything and organizing tables at 20 meters, they start all sorts of manias.
And here is one of these historical manias – an attempt to somehow compensate for the absence of a normal normal human life for these people. This is the mania of power. We see the miserable results of all this in the example of the current Russian president, sitting in a bunker, not getting out and forcing those who communicate with him to give feces two weeks before the meeting, etc. These tables are funny – a pitiful sight.
In these underground manias, they get some historical digressions, fantastic versions. We see the echo of these versions on Russian television. From time to time there were some crazy stories about Byzantium, crazy stories about Kyiv, crazy stories about Russia in general. That is, absolutely unscientific garbage that is being sold to these people who simply do not have a liberal arts education, no sober understanding of history – there is only some information from the special services and, accordingly, mania and paranoia, which, in principle, the special services are almost a normal thing.
All sorts of unhealthy ideas are superimposed on this paranoia. One of these ideas is about sacred Crimea. Frankly, I do not quite believe that the Russian leadership is guided by these ideas. They once began to push even the sacred Aleppo. Imagine – in sacred Syria. Perhaps this is just a tool for stupid, for fools of others, and not themselves. Or maybe the Russian leadership really lives in these dreams.
Why is history alien to Muscovites
It can be seen that they have a terrible mess in their heads, that these people are leading Russia to death, thinking that they are saving her. This whole story was formed on the huge inferiority complex of Ukrainian history.
Why? Because on the territory of Ukraine the first written memos concerning the history of Ukraine are somewhere around the 8th century BC. It is clear that there was nothing on the territory of Zalesye, that is, modern Russia, even in the 8th century AD. That is zero. Of course, this pushed any emperors, tsars (including Putin) to grab something, steal something, to make it their own and tell that it's all “ours”.
