The United States has announced a massive new military aid package for Ukraine. It has both positive and negative sides.
As for the minuses of the new aid package from the United States, this is, for example, the absence of guided bombs in it, which we really need. Alexander Musienko, head of the Center for Military Legal Research, told Channel 24 about this.
Cons of the new aid package
Besides, the issue of providing tanks to Ukraine has not yet been resolved. However, this is not only a question United States, but also other countries. Especially to Germany. And also the issue of providing us with ATACMS missiles with a range of 300 kilometers remains open.
We really need this to destroy military facilities behind enemy lines, especially in Crimea and other parts of the occupied territory of Ukraine, in order to exclude any hints that Russia may be preparing for some kind of offensive action. This is a fundamental point, – said the military expert.

They are capable of striking enemy positions, ammunition depots and accumulations of equipment at a distance of up to 50 kilometers, depending on the artillery system using them.
“We really need this in order to deter the deployment of the enemy and prepare for offensive actions, including to carry out counter-offensive actions,” the military expert emphasized.
