A full-scale war unleashed by Russia has been going on in Ukraine for exactly 7 months. And exactly the same – general mobilization. Recall what are the terms of military service in our state.

What are the terms of military service
Note that mobilization can be both general and shared. The latter is happening now in Russia. In addition, it can be carried out both openly and covertly. Until September 21, when Putin issued a corresponding decree, there was precisely covert mobilization in the aggressor country. And now, a quick word about deadlines.

If you are called up for military service, then the terms are as follows:
- officers who serves on conscription – up to 18 months;
- military personnel who serve on conscription during mobilization, for a special period – until the end of the special period or the announcement of a decision on demobilization;
- reservist military personnel who serve during a special period – terms to be determined by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.< /li>
Terms of Service by Contract
- Ratings serve three years;
- Persons of non-commissioned officers and petty officers – from three to five years;
- Cadets of higher military educational institutions and military training units of military universities – the time of study at the corresponding educational institution.
For officers:
- Servicemen who graduated from military universities as officers and received certain specialties: aviation flight personnel – 10 years, others – 5 years;
- Citizens who have received a primary military rank after completing a full course of military training under the reserve officer training program or after certification before being awarded the rank of reserve officer – from two to five years;
- Other citizens – from one to five years.

It should be understood that the new contract may provide for an extension of service. In this case, the terms are as follows:
- servicemen serving as enlisted men composition – 3 years;
- military personnel who serve in the positions of sergeants and foremen – from 3 to 5 years;
- officers – from 5 to 10 years.

Recall that the contract is extended exclusively at the request of the serviceman. Without his consent, no one has the right to do anything.
