In two regions of Ukraine, as a result of bad weather, in particular precipitation in the form of wet snow, due to the operation of automatic protection systems of power lines, 90 settlements are de-energized.
According to the State Service for Emergency Situations, as of the morning of December 3, there is no light in 86 settlements in the Lviv region and in four in Transcarpathia.
Currently, oblenergo repair teams are working to restore power supply.
Forecasters predict significant snowfalls, adhesion of wet snow, blizzards on December 3 in the Transcarpathian, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, and ice on the roads (I level of danger, yellow).
In the Carpathians it is also strong snow, which corresponds to the II or orange level of danger.
Such weather conditions can complicate traffic on roads and streets.
