On Friday, January 20, the weather in Ukraine will be changeable. Forecasters predict in some places up to 10 degrees of heat and sleet.
In the western regions, light rain and sleet are expected. They note that the weather will be cloudy, roads will be covered with ice in some places.
Weather forecast from the Ukrhydrometeorological center expect significant rainfall. The air temperature will fluctuate from 4 to 1 degrees of frost, in Transcarpathia it will be 1-6 degrees of heat.
In the rest of the country, according to forecasters, it will be cloudy with clearings and no precipitation. Light rain will fall in the Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions during the day.
On Friday, the air in the central regions will warm up to 5-10 degrees Celsius, in the southern part – 10-15 degrees Celsius; in the east of the country – 2-7 degrees Celsius.
In the western regions, the north wind will prevail, 7-12 meters per second. They warn of wind gusts of 15-20 meters per second.
Where the yellow danger level was declared
On January 20, significant precipitation is predicted in Zakarpattia, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions – rain and sleet. Such weather conditions can lead to disruption of traffic on certain sections of roads and streets.
Therefore, weather forecasters have introduced a yellow level of danger in these areas.

Ukrainian weather forecaster Natalya Didenko said that a cold snap will soon cover most of Ukraine. However, wet snow and lower temperatures are expected only in the western part of Ukraine.
January 20 will be rainless in Kyiv, but gusty winds will prevail. It should be added that Didenko predicts thatwinter will return in April.
