Ukrainian soldiers in Zaporozhye have already received help from Western partners. Thanks to the help of Western countries, the positions of Ukrainian forces have improved significantly.
Western weapons helped to stabilize the situation

At the same time, Oleksandr Starukh said that Ukrainian forces in Zaporozhye continue to strengthen the defense. In particular, according to him, there will be a strengthening of the internal line of defense. We are talking about hundreds of platoon and battalion strongholds.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces counterattack on Zaporozhye
- The Ukrainian military launched a counteroffensive in Zaporozhye. The American Institute for the Study of War called the UAF counterattacks in Zaporozhye and the Kherson region successful.
- It was reported that the UAF is forcing Russian troops to urgently roll over reinforcements to this weakened section of the front line. According to analysts, the Russians can gather troops in the Zaporozhye region and defend against the continuous attacks of our soldiers on Melitopol.
- Recently, the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, said that the Ukrainian forces in Zaporozhye advanced 5 to 10 kilometers. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are approaching Kherson.
- On June 20, the Defense Forces of the Zaporozhye Territory informed that the invaders did not conduct active hostilities during June 19. The main efforts of the Russians were aimed at regrouping their own forces and to hold the previously occupied territories. Our soldiers eliminated 14 Russians and wounded 18 more.
- Also, Ukrainian defenders in Zaporozhye shot down a Russian Mi-35M helicopter. The helicopter was shot down thanks to the Stinger man-portable air defense system.
