To win the war against Russia and return the occupied territories, Ukraine needs weapons. Western countries provide it to us.
However, they do not yet understand what they will do with Russia. The head of the Anti-Corruption Action Center Vitaly Shabunin told Channel 24 about this. several important reasons.
There is a political history within the US. There is a geopolitical situation. That is, the West still does not understand what to do with the obviously losing Russia. This is the key issue. – said Shabunin.
He added that Ukraine is still at a terrible cost, but wins. However, Western countries made a mistake and at first did not think that this would happen.
What kind of weapons Ukraine needs
According to him, now Ukraine critically needs such types of weapons:
- rocket artillery capable of hitting targets hundreds of kilometers away.
- air defense;
- aircraft.
“This is a weapon with which we can repel our territories. We are sincerely grateful to the Americans and other NATO allies for the artillery. But this is a weapon of defense. We need weapons for the offensive,” Shabunin stressed.
Everything can change soon
