The consequences of enemy attacks on the Lviv region/Channel 24
Yesterday, May 3, at about 20:30 Russian invaders attacked the Lviv region. Air defense detected 6 enemy cruise missiles.
As a result of the strike, part of the city and settlements were left without electricity and water. This was announced during a briefing on May 4 by the head of the Lviv OVA Maxim Kozitsky, channel 24 reports.
More than 85 thousand households and more than 12 settlements were completely de-energized, 5 – partially. About 250,000 people were left without electricity,” added the head of the OVA.
According to him, about 2,000 people are still without electricity, while at the same time, the relevant services are still working to solve the problem.

Train traffic has been partially restored
Kozitsky noted that the enemy is purposefully attacking the railway infrastructure, striking supply chains and railway stations.
The strikes were critical for railway traction substations. There is a delay in the movement of trains, but we partially restored it. We will do everything to ensure that the Lviv region continues to be a lifeline for cargo, – added the head of the OVA.
Medical facilities were switched to autonomous power
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyy also spoke about the consequences of the attack at a briefing. He noted that 2 medical institutions of the city had to be transferred to autonomous power supply. However, today the power supply of medical institutions and pumping stations has already been switched to the usual mode.
Also, the water supply systems were transferred to backup power. But we took all the measures in a timely manner, and now we can supply water to Lviv without electricity at all,” Sadovyi added.
The Mayor thanked all the rescuers and those services that, at the risk of their lives, eliminated the consequences of the Russian attack.

A resident of Transcarpathia received a blow to the chest and a rupture of one of his lungs. Sadovyi said that the victim had already been operated on, and there was no threat to his life.
In addition to Lvov, on May 3, the Russian invaders launched rocket attacks on Kyiv, Odessa, Vinnitsa and other cities.
