During the Ramstein-19 meeting, the issue of supplying F-16 fighters to Ukraine was discussed. Now the final stage is taking place in the matter of transferring these aircraft to Ukrainian pilots.
This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov in a commentary to Facts ICTV.
When the F-16s will be in Ukraine
— Yes, the issue regarding the F-16 has been resolved. I think everyone knows. There were details here, but they relate to technical issues, transfer, readiness to receive, infrastructure, readiness to service these aircraft, training of flight and airfield personnel. These are purely technical issues. But the issue is resolved, — Budanov noted.
In response to a clarifying question about when F-16 aircraft could be seen in Ukraine, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate noted that the final stage is already underway.

— Wait. It's already fast. This is the final stage. You know that our pilots are finishing their training, so they can figure everything out. It is not so difficult. I hope that we will see them in the spring, — said Kirill Budanov.
At the Ramstein-19 meeting, defense ministers of different countries discussed the short-term needs of Ukraine. Among the main topics — supplies of artillery, air defense, joint production of drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
