On November 1, fairly comfortable weather was forecasted across almost the entire territory of Ukraine, during the daytime +8-13°C, in the southern part of the country — even +17-18°C. From November 2, the temperature will begin to decrease.
Natalia Ptukha, a forecaster at the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, told about this in a commentary to Fakty ICTV.
A cold cyclone from Scandinavia is heading to Ukraine
So, on November 1, the weather was dry, with clearings, across almost the entire territory of Ukraine. But on November 2, northwesterly air currents will prevail, meaning a cooler air mass will arrive.

Also, the anticyclone, which has provided precipitation-free weather for a long time, is losing its strength, which means that atmospheric fronts from northern latitudes can enter the territory of Ukraine.
— They are not very active, that is, so far we are not talking about heavy precipitation. From November 2, there may be light rain in many regions. But already on November 4, a fairly active cyclone from Scandinavia will pass to the northeast of Ukraine through the territory of the Russian Federation, says Natalia Ptukha.
This cyclone will move quite quickly through the Baltic countries and the Russian Federation, and its atmospheric fronts will also affect the territory of Ukraine — mainly north-east and Left Bank.
Therefore, on the night of November 4 in the north-eastern regions, and during the daytime and on the Left Bank, there may be mixed precipitation, that is, rain with wet snow.
Wet snow is also expected in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, but only for one day and it will not snow heavily.
Also, from November 1, there is a warning about strong winds for many regions, except for the southern ones and Zakarpattia. According to the forecaster, it is likely that strong winds will be during November 2-4.
Atmospheric fronts will retreat

From November 5, all atmospheric fronts will move away, and anticyclonic weather will again prevail in Ukraine — without precipitation for a fairly long period — somewhere until November 8-9.
— During the daytime there will be no negative temperatures yet, they will be the same as now at night – +2-8°C. From Sunday in most regions it will be exactly like this, and a little warmer – up to +11°C in the southern regions. However, the night temperature is already from 2°C, and sometimes 3°C below zero, to 3°C above zero. That is, it will be somewhere around 0 degrees in most regions, — noted Natalia Ptukha.
In general, in November, according to our experts, the temperature indicators will be close to normal, slightly above normal may be in the southern and eastern regions. Close to the norm for this month is considered from 1°C to 8°C.
Weather forecast in Ukraine for November 2
Cloudy weather with clearings will prevail in Ukraine. At night in the western and northern regions, during the day in Ukraine, light rain is expected. The wind is predominantly northwesterly, 7-12 m/s, gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected.
Temperature indicators: at night +5-10°C; during the day +9-14°C, in the south of Ukraine up to +19°C, in the western and northern regions +5-10°C.

Earlier it was reported that the current winter in Ukraine could be warmer than usual. All because of the influence of a powerful Atlantic anticyclone, which will push warm air masses from the subtropics towards Ukraine.
