Shortly before his death, the legendary Ukrainian military Dmitry Kotsyubaylo gave an interview about the events that happened to him after February 24, 2022. He told us what our victory depends on.
Kotsyubailo, commenting on the year of a full-scale war, noted that Putin did not expect such resistance, that his troops would be killed everywhere.
The military explained that this is why the dictator is constantly changing the goals of the special operation. He failed to capture the whole of Ukraine, so he threw his forces into the Donbass and began to threaten with nuclear weapons. Despite this, Kotsyubaylo warned that the Russians should not be underestimated.
Yes, they are defeated, but they still have a resource – both human, and equipment and weapons. Now Putin is looking for allies who will supply him with this equipment and weapons. He will not give back, he will not put up with what he has. He is ready to fight for many years,” the defender said.
What determines the victory of Ukraine
According to Kotsyubailo, our victory depends on how much America and Europe will support us, as well as how much equipment and ammunition will give us.
“Armament is good, but it all depends on the people. Our people are the best. They will learn something, they will do something. Therefore, we will win,” Kotsyubaylo said.
He stressed that it would not be as easy as during the counter-offensive in the Kharkov region. The enemy analyzed his mistakes. However, Ukraine will continue to liberate its lands.
