“We wish you luck in the future”: how the Russians were able to shoot down their Su-25

The Russian army is increasingly losing its aviation. So, on December 17, another Su-25 went to hell. However, the fighter was not shot down by Ukrainian air defense – this happened thanks to the “coordinated actions of Russian anti-aircraft gunners.”

How the enemy shot down his plane

• an infantryman is sitting in a trench;
• the plane is flying from the Ukrainian side;
• the soldier turns on the cooling of the air defense missile system warhead, this requires 10 – 15 seconds;
• seeing the plane, the reflex automatically turns on and the warrior launches a rocket.

In the rear, the military usually monitors airborne objects: altitude, flight pattern and where the target is flying from. However, on the front line everything is different. There is an instant reaction and therefore such cases can occur. Since attack aircraft work precisely at the forefront.

Ukrainian military destroys enemy aircraft

• On Sunday, October 29, the speaker of the State Border Service of Ukraine Andrey Demchenko said that Ukrainian border guards destroyed a Russian combat aircraft in the Avdiivka direction.
