If the Russian invaders destroy the defenders of Mariupol, Ukraine will suspend only the political component of the negotiations. The humanitarian desk will continue to work as before.
Advisor to the head of the President's Office Mykhailo Podolyak said this on the air of the national telethon. He stressed that negotiations on the exchange of prisoners and the opening of humanitarian corridors will be ongoing. Channel 24 reports.

Podolyak told how the negotiation process is going on. According to him, there are several negotiating tables within the framework of the congress of delegations.
One of them has a political map, the other one has a settlement map in terms of getting out of the war, but there is still separate cards, humanitarian. – the adviser emphasized.
He added that this block raises issues of the exchange of prisoners, humanitarian corridors, the possibility of withdrawing our people from the temporarily occupied territories.
When the president talks about the termination of the negotiation process, of course, he means a complete halt of the political component or everything else, except for the humanitarian one, Podolyak said.
