The head of the Transcarpathian OVA explained the refusal to supply fuel to other regions/Channel 24 Collage

In Transcarpathia, companies refused to supply fuel to other regions. The OVA says that in fact everyone misunderstood and there was no mention of blocking supplies.

Local authorities do not influence the transit of fuel, as this is a state-level issue. This was stated by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration, Viktor Nikita.

It seems that there was no mention of blocking

The official noted that it was said about local entrepreneurs, for which favorable conditions have been created for fuel imports and logistics. The goal is to avoid a fuel crisis in the region. In response, the enterprises refused to speculate on the price and sell their fuel more than the borders of the region.

Nikita assures that in this way they stabilize the market. In order not to take fuel from other regions, where it is more important, the region is trying to close the need on its own.

Unfortunately, our theses were not quite correctly understood … There was no talk of any blocking, – said the head of the OVA.

What preceded this

  • Nikita said that Transcarpathian local fuel companies refused to supply fuel to other regions until the region's needs were met. According to the official, the decision was approved even despite the super-profitable proposals.
  • He added that mechanisms and conditions were created for business in Transcarpathia, thanks to which the import of oil products from the EU countries would be as fast as possible, without artificial obstacles and bureaucracy.< /li>

What is the situation with fuel

  • A crisis in the fuel market arose in Ukraine due to a shortage of gasoline and diesel.
  • The government canceled state regulation of prices for fuel. Since then, the average cost of A-95 gasoline and diesel has remained at the same level – 51 hryvnia for gasoline and 57 hryvnia for diesel. However, the cost differs somewhat between regions.
  • Director of the A-95 Consulting Group Sergey Kuyun noted that the best situation is in Kyiv and in the West. By the way, he said that Transcarpathia generally overcame the fuel crisis. The biggest problems are in the central and eastern regions.
  • Despite this, supplies are growing, and consumers have adapted a bit and learned to buy fuel with cards, coupons.
