We went to visit our son: spouses of border guards tragically died in the Khmelnytsky region

< p _ngcontent-sc100="" class="news-annotation">In the Khmelnytsky region, the spouses of border guards Alexander and Nelya Dotsenko tragically died. Both served in the Berdyansk detachment of the State Border Service.

This was reported in the Berdyansk detachment of the GNSU. Probably, the couple died in an accident on the E-50 highway near the village of Kachurintsy, Voytovets Territorial District.

We went on vacation to meet our son

Lieutenant Colonel Nelya Dotsenko was a speaker of the Lugansk border detachment for a long time. She conveyed information to the public about what was happening on the demarcation line and on the border with Russia.

Colonel Alexander Dotsenko was not a public person – he carried out and organized operational-search activities.

With the start of a full-scale invasion, the spouses defended Ukraine in the South. The other day they took a short vacation to meet with their 13-year-old son, who had previously been evacuated from Berdyansk, because he lived with his grandmother, Nelia Dotsenko's mother.

This is a great loss for the entire staff of the border agency. The officers devoted their entire conscious life to the protection of the borders of Ukraine. Alexander and Nelya were kind, loving, sincere and sympathetic people. And their professionalism, patriotism, courage, inflexibility of spirit, motivation, manifestation during the performance of their duties and in confronting armed aggression from Russia have become an example to follow, – noted in the Berdyansk border detachment.

The editors Channel 24 expresses its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims! spouses, however, Alexander and Nelya Dotsenko were probably driving a Volkswagen Touran passenger car, which collided with a MAN truck on the morning of January 29.
