A video is being distributed online showing the graves of Russian paratroopers who tried to occupy part of the Kyiv region in March 2022. The occupiers decided to complain about the huge number of dead Russians buried in the cemetery.

Ukrainian journalist Denis Kazansky distributed online a video published by a Russian, showing a cemetery in the Kostroma region. It is there, according to the author, that hundreds of graves of Russian paratroopers are located, who in the spring of 2022 participated in the capture of the villages of Gostomel and Moshchun in the Kyiv region.

Mass graves in Kostroma

Incredible losses! This is only one Kostroma! Only one regiment,” says the voice-over.

Showing hundreds of graves at the Kostroma cemetery, the author complains about the numerous losses of Russians and calls for the sake of the dead Russian invaders to live and do everything so that their death is not in vain.

Constantly repeating standard propaganda narratives, he emphasizes the need for a speedy end to the “war against evil, the war against fascism,” which, according to him, was allegedly launched against Russia and Russian citizens. The Russian also says that “the guys did not die in vain,” but the settlements they captured in the Buchansky district were liberated last year.

Russian losses are increasing

  • According to Western estimates, enemy losses in the Russian-Ukrainian war amount to approximately 300 to 400 thousand dead and wounded. It is also reported that in the most fierce battles near Avdeevka, the Russians lose approximately 500 to 1000 of their fighters daily.
  • Currently, the Ukrainian military has destroyed 5,496 tanks, 10,256 armored vehicles, 7,833 artillery systems, 904 MLRS and 595 air defense systems.
  • At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine notes that over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces inflicted 11 strikes on the enemy at places where they were concentrated and where military equipment was located.
