< strong _ngcontent-sc88="">Denmark has been actively supporting our state since the first day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Prime Minister of Denmark assured that her country's position remained unchanged.
Danish Prime Minister Matte Frederiksen addressed the Ukrainian Parliament. She was amazed by the strength of Ukraine and assured of providing support that will contribute to our victory in the war unleashed by Russia.
Denmark supports Ukraine in all directions
Soon Ukraine must hear the decision of the EU to grant us the status of a candidate for membership in the European Union. The Prime Minister of Denmark emphasized the place of Ukraine in the European family.
You belong to Europe and Europe belongs to you. Denmark supports granting Ukraine the status of a candidate member of the EU. We support your every step,” Frederiksen assured.
She said that she had seen with her own eyes the consequences of the crimes of the Russians in Borodyanka and talked with witnesses and victims. In addition to the wild cruelty of the infidels, she managed to see another important thing – the gigantic power of Ukraine.
Frederiksen also stressed that the foundation of the EU is democracy, human rights and the right of every nation to choose its own future. Ukraine bravely defends its European rights, therefore Europe must do everything possible for the victory of Ukraine.
“If we do not help you, if we do not expel Putin, this will mean that we will not help ourselves, because your freedom is our freedom,” the Prime Minister of Denmark said.
She also said that Denmark had decided to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the necessary weapons, and also promised to rebuild Nikolaev, which had been hit by Russian shelling.
“I am sure that you will win this war. And I am also sure that after the war there will be a new strong Ukraine. Democracy will win, peace will be restored and you will be free,” Frederiksen said.
Russia's war against Ukraine: recent events
