The head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Radoslaw Sikorski noted his support for Ukraine. However, he noted that it is not unconditional.

This is reported by the RMF24 publication.

What the head of the Polish MFA said

“We want to maintain bipartisan US support for the alliance with Europe, support for Ukraine, the physical presence of American troops in Poland,” said Sikorski, who is in the United States on a ten-day visit.

The head of Polish diplomacy visited Washington. In the coming days, he will be in New York for the UN General Assembly session, and will later fly to Detroit, Michigan, where he will meet with the management and employees of the General Dynamics Land Systems plant, which is the executor of Polish weapons orders (for Abrams tanks – editor's note). During his stay in Michigan, meetings are also planned with the local Polish community, as well as with members of Congress from this state.

The Polish Foreign Minister emphasized that talks about the alliance and relations are very important. “This is an important alliance for us, it is an alliance that makes us feel safer,” he said.

He was asked whether negotiations with Ukraine are becoming more difficult (in recent days, the media have reported on a dispute between Sikorski and Zelensky – editor's note).

Ukraine is under pressure. It is doing well at sea, a little worse on land. We support Ukraine, but of course we also have our demands, as is the case with neighbors, Sikorski said.
