President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that for Ukraine, its security is now in the first place, informs Channel 24.

The head of state explained that it is not yet known when Ukraine will become a member of NATO. It does not depend on us today.

“Ukraine has demonstrated its power both on the battlefield and in the society that supports this geopolitical course as much as possible,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

According to him, the process of joining the alliance is really thorny.

As for the challenges on the way to the alliance, we want to have security guarantees,” he focused.

However, this issue is being discussed with a certain circle: with the European Union, with Great Britain, with the United States.

Ukraine's accession to NATO: the main thing
