About the story of Dmitry Sivak Channel 24told within the framework of the OWN project. A man forced to leave his home with his family is convinced that it is the duty of every Ukrainian now to fight, if not at the front, then in the rear.
Volunteers now lack hands to weave grids
The Armed Forces of Ukraine need not only donations, but sometimes trite – hardworking hands and a few hours a week. The need for camouflage nets is very great at the front. They are constantly ordered by our defenders, because this is their safety and life.
Camouflage nets are needed at the front
Home-made camouflage net, Dmitry says, “lives” very little. Then you need to throw it away.
Camouflage nets are very necessary on the “front”. And these nets – they are not factory ones – so one fight and she is gone. And the battles there are now very strong and take place constantly. Sometimes hundreds of warriors need a hundred nets, – Dmitry said.
Nets are weaved in volunteer centers throughout Ukraine, and they all face a problem – there are not enough people who want to join this cause. Dmitry Sivak hopes that the netting campaign will eventually be held on a weekly basis. The volunteer says: you don’t need to take anything with you, they will provide all the materials. The main thing is the time and desire to help those who are in the trenches.
Important! Everyone who wants to help the soldiers is waiting in the Sknilovsky park in Lviv, at the intersection of Vyhovsky and Kulchitska streets, at the coffee shop. Netting will start around 12 noon.
