Military actions have intensified in the Kursk region. Ukraine is taking unconventional actions, which even Russian z-bloggers have already acknowledged. But the Russians have already recovered, so they are starting to attack.

Heavy variable battles are underway, but the Defense Forces have the advantage and are effectively destroying the enemy. This is already, as General of the Army, former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Nikolai Malomuzh said on Channel 24, a blow to the prestige of dictator Vladimir Putin.

What is the situation in Kursk region

A new strategy is being implemented in the Kursk region. Even Russian z-bloggers admitted that Ukrainian troops have non-standard formats of action.

We prepared a number of unexpected operations that allowed us to disorient the enemy, the imitation was in other sectors, – noted Malomuzh.

The Ukrainian command first promptly “informed” the Russians that the assault would be in one direction, but our soldiers carried it out in a completely different place.

The format provided for complex interaction: organizational; combat; with the involvement of electronic warfare and air defense systems to devalue Russian intelligence, which was almost always “blind”; rapid actions of assault groups that moved in sectors where the enemy did not expect it, for example, in Sudzha.

All this made it possible to strike, push back the enemy and destroy most of them. The fighting is going on again, because the enemy has already partially recovered and is starting counterattacks and counter-operations. But we are holding our positions, entering from the flanks along these sectors, – explained Nikolai Malomuzh.

What Putin's plans were thwarted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

According to the general, there are heavy variable battles. No one can say with 100% what is happening at this very second. The situation is constantly changing. However, the Defense Forces have an advantage, destroying the occupiers from one of the sectors to a battalion.

This is already a blow not only to the formation, which is pulling forces from other directions of its Donetsk sector, but also a powerful blow to the prestige of Vladimir Putin, who has committed to displacing Ukrainian troops from Kursk region by January 20. It is highly unlikely that this will happen in the near future.
