This opinion Channel 24 was expressed by military expert Petr Chernik. According to him, the infidels really suffer heavy losses both in manpower and in equipment.
“They still have a lot of scrap iron”
However, Chernik stressed, do not underestimate the enemy's combat capability.
We have no right to fall into two deadly illusions: that victory is about to happen and that the enemy has exhausted his resources, he emphasized.
According to a military expert, Russia is indeed running out of high-quality missiles.
“But they still have a lot of scrap iron – tanks and artillery that can destroy and kill. And so it seems, that Moscow imperialism is not going to surrender,โ he said.Chernik recalled that the enemy had modified the old Soviet S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems. Missiles designed to combat aircraft in the air are used by the Russians to strike ground targets in Ukrainian cities. This may mean that the enemy still has a lot of such missiles.
Russian stocks are not limited to S-300 missiles.
What kind of missiles does Russia produce
“Unfortunately , they have a rather long line of aviation missiles,” the military expert noted.
He explained that now the Russians are relying on medium-class missiles: X-31with a range of up to 160 km and X-59 with a range of up to 280 km.
“Russia has already put the production of these missiles on the conveyor,” Chernik said.
Also, according to him, the Russians have enough old X-22 class missiles .
This is an incredibly scary weapon that has a 960 combat element kilograms. It causes terrible destruction. Unfortunately, they will continue to use these weapons,โ the military expert added.
What the Armed Forces of Ukraine should do
Chernik noted that the good news is that it is increasingly difficult for the Russians to cover large radii of destruction.
“But in the middle and near radius they still have a lot of this a terrible scrap,” he stressed.
The military expert added that it is important for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to continue hitting military infrastructure facilities and occupiers.
