The heroic defense of Mariupol continues. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny said that communication with the units of the defense forces holding the city is stable.
He stressed that the conduct of defense operations is not a topic of public discussion. Therefore, Zaluzhny urged to believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We are doing everything possible and impossible to win and save the lives of personnel and civilians in all areas, the commander-in-chief added.

Advisor to the Head of the President's Office Oleksiy Arestovich said yesterday that it is still impossible to unblock Mariupol by military means. The fact is that our troops will not pass the steppe under air strikes from Rostov and the Crimea.
However, according to Arestovich, the siege can be facilitated indirectly.
