Azerbaijani leader expressed support for Ukraine/Office of the President
The head of Azerbaijan said that his country supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine. In this context, Ilham Aliyev called on other countries “not to hide behind a tree.”
Aliyev said this at a meeting with participants in the international conference “South Caucasus: Development and Cooperation.”

The President of Azerbaijan stressed that the principles of international law should be fair for all countries.
We support territorial integrity Ukraine, like other countries, and we openly declare this, we do not hide behind a tree. Yes, we do not deny that we have good relations with Russia. The principles of international law should in no case be distorted due to political superiority, Aliyev said.
According to the head of state, the international community was selective about Azerbaijan regarding its territorial integrity.
How Azerbaijan helps Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said earlier that the head of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has always supported and supports Ukraine, and the country provides humanitarian and medical assistance.
At the same time, Zelensky understands that in terms of armament, it is difficult for Azerbaijan to help Ukraine. All because of Nagorno-Karabakh with historical and complex issues.
