Ukraine is negotiating the transfer of jet aircraft and missiles with a range of 300 kilometers. This topic is a priority for our diplomats.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba spoke about this at a briefing, according to Channel 24.

Negotiations on aircraft and long-range missiles continue

According to Kuleba, he is convinced that the new consensus of allies in support of Ukraine should include decisiveness and consistency. The Armed Forces of Ukraine must receive all types of weapons they need to defend and restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The public and partners know exactly what the Defense Force needs.

First of all, we are talking about jet fighters and long-range missiles that can hit targets at a distance of up to 300 kilometers. This is not a weapon of escalation, it is a weapon of defense and deterrence of the aggressor. We are negotiating to unblock all these decisions,” the Foreign Minister noted.

He added that he ordered all Ukrainian diplomats in key capitals to make achieving this goal a priority.

“I am sure that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will certainly receive all the necessary weapons. I urge our partners to do everything in their power to make this happen as soon as possible,” the minister summed up.

  • At the same time, French President Emmanuel Macron does not exclude the possibility of transferring modern fighter jets to our state. He emphasized that the topic of aircraft is not taboo.
