The signing of a memorandum with the American company Swift Beat will allow the production of drones to be scaled up; in particular, this year alone we are talking about hundreds of thousands.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on the agreement on Ukrainian-American drone production, which was signed today in Denmark.

– This is a document on co-production between Ukraine and the United States. There will be several companies that focus on drones of different types. But the most important thing is: this year – hundreds of thousands, and next year there will be an increase, – noted Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to him, the main component of the agreement is the production of interceptor drones, which have already proven their effectiveness in Ukraine.
“We have tested such drones from several companies, and now we have signed a very serious contract. We are very much counting on shooting down Shaheds in large numbers. Therefore, I believe that this is a good start – to work in this direction,” Zelensky noted.
The President also stressed that some Ukrainian defense enterprises will gain access to new technologies, which will allow them to speed up and increase their production.
Today in Denmark, in the presence of President Volodymyr Zelensky, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and CEO of the American company Swift Beat Eric Schmidt, a memorandum on long-term strategic partnership in the field of production of unmanned systems was signed.
