How did we manage to win the first stage of the war? Cruel realities
In the Donbass and in the South, the enemy keeps close to their supply centers, the offensive is unhurried, but constantly.
The enemy has a serious advantage in artillery, using thermobaric and phosphorus ammunition, which makes our usual fortifications ineffective.
Yes, the enemy suffers serious losses, but the APU suffers comparable losses! At the same time, it turned out that the rashists are able to replenish their troops even faster than we do. And it is still half a kilometer a day, but it is advancing, capturing Ukrainian land.
Our retaliatory strikes are of a distracting nature and are not aimed at breaking through the front. Our troops do not have a serious advance either near Kharkov or Kherson.
The crisis of the genre
The mere appearance of Western multiple rocket launchers in our country will not change the situation by itself. We need a change in tactics, and we need a new – information – system for organizing the battle.
Because even the existing NATO howitzers, the same M777, are not used to their full potential.
And in the rear, in some places, there is a certain calmness and an increase in the dependent moods of the authorities: they say that the West owes us, it is obliged to do everything that we need, instead of us, and our task is to ask and demand louder.
At the same time, there is absolutely outrageous facts, in particular, attempts to resume the “big construction site”.
Moreover, we are not talking about vital infrastructure facilities, such as destroyed bridges and railway junctions, but leisure facilities.
Winter is coming
You see, an extremely difficult winter awaits us. Closer to cold weather, the enemy will certainly try to destroy our distribution substations and thermal power plants in order to plunge Ukraine into cold and darkness, to cause a humanitarian catastrophe. purchase mobile thermal power plants, find alternative energy sources. But there is no way to engage in the construction of swimming pools and other cuts in the budget.
The sprint race, that is, the blitzkrieg, was not a success for the Russians. Stayers will win this war – that is, that country and that government that are capable of acting clearly, reasonably and efficiently for a long period.
