The training of Ukrainian pilots on American F-16 fighters is going according to plan; they are taking to the skies with instructors.
The speaker of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, stated this on the air of the United News telethon.
— Probably, the number of pilots with instructors is increasing. Next we expect independent flights. I think we'll probably find out more sometime soon. I don't want to announce anything. Perhaps we’ll see something,” he hinted.

About two weeks ago, Yuri Ignat said that some pilots were already training in the sky with instructors.
Today, Ukraine continues to evaluate airfields for hosting F-16 fighters with the assistance of foreign experts. At the same time, the first Ukrainian pilots and engineers are studying on these aircraft abroad.
