We are checking and getting ready – APU on information about the appearance of “Wagnerites” in Zaporozhye

According to preliminary information, the invaders are transferring mercenaries of the “elite” private military company “Wagner” to the Zaporozhye direction. The Armed Forces reacted to this, noting that the Ukrainian military is preparing for possible enemy attacks.

In recent days, information has been especially actively disseminated that the enemy is trying to strengthen positions in the occupied territories of the South-East our state. At the same time, the head of the joint press center of the Taurian Defense Forces Yevgeny Yerin commented on the air of the national telethon, informs Channel 24.

No large groupings found

According to the representative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy does not yet plan to attack the positions of the Ukrainian military with large offensive groups. Although the activation of enemy reconnaissance in this direction is still observed.

Certain intelligence actions (of Russia – Channel 24) are observed, but it did not come to any military clashes. Lately, however, there is some information, which is still being specified, about the arrival of military mercenaries from private military companies in this direction,” Yerin stated.

At the same time, he answered whether our military is preparing to strengthen military operations. Actually, there is no doubt that the Armed Forces are always ready for potential attacks by invaders.

As we know, where Wagner appears, there is a certain activation there. Therefore, we are also preparing. We are taking all the necessary measures and will keep the line, as the leadership and the entire Ukrainian people require of us,” the head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also added.

What is the general situation at the front< /h2>

• Note that Yevgeny Yerin used to say that there were no private military companies, including Wagner, in Zaporozhye. At the same time, he warned that Putin's soldiers even formed an attack group.
• Obviously, the situation has changed somewhat since then. The Russians do not yet plan to attack, but they are consolidating military forces.
• In addition, the General Staff noted on January 31 that the enemy continues to shell Ukrainian cities located near the line of confrontation. It is also known that the situation in the East of our state remains the most difficult, because the invaders are unsuccessfully trying to attack there.
• At the same time, analysts from the Institute for the Study of War are convinced that the possibility of another Russian offensive over the next months is very high.
