This weekend, frosts eased again in Ukraine and it got warmer. However, we are not yet talking about temperature records, as in January.
What is the use of a warm winter and not, said in an interview with Channel 24 Natalia Ptuha, a weather forecaster from the Ukrhydrometeorological center.
The forecaster noted that this is a rather subjective question. Of course, in a full-scale war, the warmth in the middle of winter is pleasant and more comfortable. And this is a lesser load on the energy system.
However, on the other hand, there is our agricultural complex, many crops and, unfortunately, when there were such warm periods, some of them began vegetation. And then we again see that the temperature drops, frosts begin. Accordingly, this may negatively affect certain agricultural crops,” Ptukha emphasized.
Pay attention! Earlier, Natalia Ptukha said that in January, weather forecasters recorded temperature records at 115 weather stations in Ukraine. In some places, the figures even corresponded to mid-April. By the way, we are talking about the highest temperature in the history of instrumental meteorological observations.
