In the Middle East, there is another phase of aggravation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The United States remains Israel's main ally, but there can always be some disagreements.

Former Israeli Ambassador to Russia Arkady Mil-Man told Channel 24 what the dialogue is like between Israel and the United States.

“We rely completely on the Americans, but at the same time, commanders on the battlefield sometimes have more visibility into the situation than from satellite or other intelligence that reaches the Americans,” Mil-Man said.

So, sometimes there are disagreements, which is natural. But there is nothing significant that could influence the course of events.

What is Israel's position regarding the future of the hospital?

They plan to build a hospital for civilians in the border area with the Gaza Strip to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe. However, it is fundamentally important for Israel that wounded terrorists are not able to use the services of this hospital, crossing the border and avoiding punishment.

“There will be no compromise here, because every terrorist who escapes us is a future threat to our security. I have no doubt that the Americans and the French are also not interested in these terrorists escaping,” Mil-Man stated.

  • The visit to Turkey is connected primarily with the controversial statements of Recep Erdogan. He called Israel an “occupier” and accused the country of “war crimes.”
