Over a year ago, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. To win, it is not enough to drive out the enemy and liberate the occupied territories. The aggressor country must be brought before an international tribunal, otherwise the war will never end.
This opinion was expressed by Russian human rights activist Mark Feygin on Channel 24 . According to him, the Kremlin will never agree to a trial, but the consent of the Russians is not at all necessary for this.
Without a tribunal the war will never end
Feigin noted that an international tribunal is the only possible option for ending the war. As he stressed, Russia will never agree to a trial, but consent from those who commit the genocide of Ukrainians is not needed at all.
The human rights activist stressed that the return of the occupied territories and reparations is not enough for Ukraine's victory over the terrorist country. It is important that a trial be held against Russia, which should ensure that the war will never happen again.
An international tribunal is the punishment of all persons responsible for organizing and executing aggression. There may be courts in Ukraine. But if the verdict is not passed against the guilty, then it will be possible to consider that the war has not ended, he is convinced.

Russian authorities may be hiding in Africa
Mark Feigin has suggested that when the regime of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin falls, all his supporters will be out of power and could flee to Central Africa. They will do this so as not to answer to the court for their crimes.
“If this happens, then there are alternative mechanisms for the implementation of these sentences. They are associated with special actions. This is how it works in the modern world. For some reason, they believe that these people will be chased with warrants. They can run with a gun,” the human rights activist added.
