Former American President Donald Trump once again distinguished himself with a scandalous statement. The former US president, who is seeking re-election, said he could encourage Russia to attack any of the NATO allies.

We're talking about those countries that have not fulfilled their financial obligations to the Alliance. In particular, this concerns the allocation of 2% of GDP for the defense of NATO member countries.

Trump made a new cynical statement about NATO and Russia

At a campaign rally on Saturday in Conway, South Carolina, former President Donald Trump expressed his concerns about aid to Ukraine and the existence of NATO, the 31-nation alliance that The United States has pledged to defend if the need arises.

During the meeting, Trump said that he had previously told another head of a “great country” that under his leadership the United States would not defending any country that would be considered a “criminal”.

In response to former President Trump's remarks, White House Speaker Andrew Bates expressed deep concern, calling the act an endorsement of the invasion of territory by murderous regimes our closest allies are “troubled and deranged.” Bates emphasized that such actions not only jeopardize American national security, but also destabilize global stability and negatively impact the domestic economy.
