They want a better life: US special envoy calls on Palestinians to move out of the Gaza Strip Sofia Rozhik

The US is fired up with the idea of resettling Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. People are advised not to be attached to this land in order to have a better life.

Thus, Trump's team has declared its readiness to take control of the Gaza Strip and restore the region in order to turn it into a “Middle Eastern Riviera.” This was reported by Channel 24, citing The Times of Israel.

Trump wants to be transparent with the Palestinians

The US promises the Palestinians that they can start a better life – “better opportunities, better financial conditions, better aspirations.”

They don't have any of that yet, because they are “pitching a tent in the Gaza Strip” among 30,000 munitions that could explode at any moment.

“Peace in the region means a better life for the Palestinians. A better life is not necessarily related to the physical space you are in today,” said US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff.

He said Trump is calling for things to be better for these people.

The president is saying, “Let's make things better for these people. Let's give them more hope. Let them make that choice.” And I think he's right, Witkoff added.

The special envoy also stressed that Trump “wants to be transparent with the Palestinian people,” adding that Gaza will be uninhabitable for the next 10 to 15 years.
