On October 10, 2024, the Kiev District Court of occupied Simferopol fined him for this. In court, the man justified himself by saying that he did not remember when he posted the publication. He noted that he had already deleted it, but eventually admitted his guilt.
The court charged him with a violation under the article on dissemination of information that in an indecent form insults the symbols and authorities of Russia. The maximum fine for the man could have been 100 thousand rubles, but the court set it at 70 thousand.
