Ukraine is forced to live in martial law. And already during the war against Russia to improve its defense capability.
Perhaps the greatest damage to the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine was caused by rocket attacks by Russia. To do this, it uses various missiles, which it quite often launches from the Black Sea or the Caspian region.
The air defense of Ukraine is trying to fight Russian missiles. For this, both stationary air defense systems (anti-aircraft missile systems) and aircraft, which also shoot down cruise missiles, are used. In Ukraine, there are quite a few air defense systems in service in different regions.
During missile launches from the enemy in areas that can be hit by a missile, an air raid is announced, and all residents must go to shelter or safe storage .
In the Vinnitsa region, the air defense system has been somewhat improved. Sergey Borzov, head of the Vinnitsa Regional Military Administration, boasted of this at a daily briefing.
“All Vinnitsa residents often hear air raid sirens. The enemy uses thousands of missiles to destroy Ukrainians, military and important infrastructure. Thanks to Vinnitsa inventors who have used modern technology, it was possible to significantly increase the effectiveness of the air defense system in our region. Vinnytsia know-how is being considered in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for implementation throughout Ukraine,” said Serhiy Borzov.
The head of the Vinnytsia OVA did not go into details improving the work of air defense without publishing unnecessary information.
As of June 7, the Ukrainian military shot down 212 enemy planes and 177 helicopters during the war with Russia. Also, our fighters neutralized 125 cruise missiles fired by Russian invaders in Ukraine. 553 operational-tactical drones were shot down. 96 enemy air defense systems were also destroyed in Ukraine.
