The Ukrainian military command predicts the end of the war in 2023. Since Russia has not achieved any war goal, it will try to go on a new big offensive, but after that the UAF will go on a counteroffensive.
About thisChannel 24told the military Armed Forces of Ukraine, and before the war, the Ukrainian political scientist Kirill Sazonov. According to him, Russia still has resources for the offensive, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine will break it, after which they will go to liberate Ukrainian territory.
The military are confident of victory this year
Kirill Sazonov said that he and his command are sure of victory in 2023. At the same time, it is expected that Russia will attack soon, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to fight back.
Kirill Budanov spoke about this, intelligence and the General Staff spoke about this, that we expect that, most likely, Russia will go on the offensive in the near future, because they have not achieved any goal of the NVO, but they still have resources. Having broken their teeth on our defense, they will retreat, and we will go on the counteroffensive. It will most likely be in the spring,” the political scientist said.
But Kirill Sazonov emphasized that these are only forecasts, and this is “a thankless task in a war.” The military is convinced that Russia will try to launch an offensive before Ukraine receives new Western weapons. According to Sazonov's forecasts, the main hostilities will take place in the spring, and in the summer it will be possible to sum up the first results.
