What do the US say about theses on gun control
Spartz urged Congress to introduce “due control” of weapons that the US transfers to Ukraine, and create a joint working group. However, Spartz herself did not name specific reasons why the Ukrainian side could be suspected of dishonorable use of weapons.
The US Department of Defense stated that they had no doubts about the proper use of the provided weapons by Ukraine.
“We don't track the weapons. And frankly, we feel pretty good that the Ukrainians are using the weapons that we provided them. We saw no signs that these weapons went anywhere other than to fight the Russians,” it says in the statement.
