The relatively quiet night of November 20 is primarily due to weather conditions. Because of the storm, even Russian aviation was not working.
This was stated by the speaker of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Pletenchuk on the air of the United News telethon.
— The situation at sea is difficult, the storm is quite strong, some ships were even torn from their anchors. Therefore, there is no point in going to sea in such conditions; it is virtually impossible to use long-range weapons. Even the aviation was not working, so we had a relatively quiet night,” he explained.

Pletenchuk noted that the storm season is usually long, so Ukrainians can take a little break from shelling, but one cannot say that this is good either.
— Because it also affects civil shipping. The only thing is that our enemy cannot operate in such weather conditions. This gives everyone who is directly involved in the performance of their duties the opportunity to get a little rest,” he concluded.
As of the morning of November 20, there are no Russian ships in the Black and Azov Seas. In the Mediterranean Sea alone there are two Russian vessels, including one carrier of Caliber cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for the 635th day.
