The Spanish police detained the pro-Russian leader Anatoly Shariy. Most likely, he will be extradited to Ukraine, according to Fyodor Venislavsky, Sharia will be chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
People's deputy Fyodor Venislavsky told Channel 24 about this. He also explained that since Shariy had fled from the Ukrainian court, the measure of restraint would be exactly – detention. But bail cannot be ruled out.

I think that by the time we get Shariy in Ukraine, we will better understand whether he can be an exchange fund and how interesting he is for Russia. Such persons as Shariy or Medvedchuk, when they “played their roles”, are unlikely to be of interest to the Russian side, Fedor Venislavsky noted.
What is known about the detention of Anatoly Shariy in Spain
Anatoly Shariy was detained with the assistance of the SBU and the Office of the Prosecutor General. Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova asked all government officials to refrain from emotional assessments about the detainee, because he would definitely refuse voluntary extradition to Ukraine. He can also appeal to the Spanish Themis about political persecution.
The President's representative in the Constitutional Court Fyodor Venislavsky notes that Shariy is unlikely to be in Ukraine tomorrow . European states comply with all legal procedures, so it will take some time. However, Venislavsky is convinced that Shariy will be accurately judged in Ukraine.
Suspicion under two articles of Shariy was announced back in February 2021. He is also suspected of intentionally damaging the national security of Ukraine in the information sphere.
His wife Olga reacted very strangely to her husband's detention. The woman simply recorded a video without words under the “thieves” track. Spanish media write that Shariy and his wife and son have lived in Tarragona since 2019 and officially registered a few months ago.
Shariy also seems to have an apartment in Barcelona. Prior to this, the pro-Russian blogger had been in Lithuania for several years.
