Vector UAV, shells and mine clearance vehicles: Germany allocated an assistance package to Ukraine

Germany has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, which will include artillery shells, mine clearance vehicles and anti-drone suppressors.

According to the German government, in the aid package Ukraine will receive 14 thousand 155-mm caliber shells, four WISENT 1 vehicles, three more mobile and remotely controlled systems for mine clearance, as well as equipment for the disposal of explosive objects.

Germany will transfer to Ukraine 250 tool sets with explosive materials, 10 Vector reconnaissance drones and spare parts for them, 22 anti-drone sensors and systems capable of jamming them, 12 Satcom satellite communication terminals.

At the same time, Germany allocates four cars for Ukraine, which should help in protecting the border.

Preliminary package from Germany

Germany announced a preliminary package of military aid to Ukraine worth €1.1 billion on February 16. In particular, it included Skynex air defense systems and IRIS-T medium-range air defense missiles.
