World boxing champion according to WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO in the heavyweight division Alexander Usyk promised to pay prize money from his own pocket to members of the Ukrainian Olympic boxing team if they win medals at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

According to Sosnovsky, Usyk said that if the Ukrainian boxers win medals at the 2024 Olympics, he will give them prize money from his own pocket.

In addition, the medalists of the boxing competitions will receive prize money from the International Boxing Association (IBA), which announced that it will award gold medalists $100,000, silver medalists $50,000, and bronze medalists $25 thousand.
There are two Ukrainian representatives left in boxing at the 2024 Olympics: Ayder Abduraimov, who will start the competition in the 57 kg weight class on August 31, and Alexander Khizhnyak, who won the first prize in the 80 kg weight class — defeated the Hungarian, who is a native of Bakhmut.
