The rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury for the WBC, WBA and WBO heavyweight championship will take place on December 21, 2024.
This was confirmed by the head of the Saudi Arabian Entertainment Authority, Turki Al ash-Sheikh, on the X social network.

According to the contract, boxers do not have the right to have other fights before the rematch. Therefore, Usyk — Fury 2 will be the next fight for both Alexander and Tyson.
At stake in the rematch is Usyk — Fury will hold the WBC, WBA and WBO championship belts. Unlike the first fight, the boxers will not be fighting for the absolute heavyweight title, as Usyk has vacated the IBF belt.
Recall that on May 18, Oleksandr Usyk won a split decision victory over Fury. The Ukrainian inflicted the first defeat of the Briton's career.
