According to the Downdetector service, the first reports of problems began to arrive on August 24 at about nine o'clock in the morning.
Most often, failures occurred in the work of the site and mail service. Residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Krasnodar Territory complain about the problems.
A day earlier, Yandex users also reported failures in the company's services, in particular, the website and e-mail. As of 14:59, 424 complaints were recorded.
By 15:40, the press service of the company reported that they had fixed the problems and the service was working as usual.
In early August, the websites of several St. Petersburg universities “fell” under the influx of people wishing to apply. In particular, the Polytech faced a problem.
The problems occurred due to a large number of simultaneous calls to the pages where the competition lists for admission are published. The applicants were also unable to view the information published in their personal accounts on the website.
