Senator J.D. Vance's jet was forced to make an emergency landing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The incident occurred on Friday, August 16th, during the afternoon due to a mechanical problem.

After the problem was fixed, the plane continued on its route in Cincinnati. Earlier in the day, Vance spoke to the Milwaukee Police Association.

What is known about Vance's emergency landing

Senator Vance's jet, known as “Trump Force Two,” was forced to make an emergency landing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday afternoon due to a mechanical problem.

The pilot reported a door seal malfunction, said Sen. Taylor Van Kirk, a spokesman for the senator.

An emergency was announced immediately after that emergency, once the problem was resolved, the plane flew back to Cincinnati as planned originally.

Earlier in the day, Vance spoke to the Milwaukee Police Association to discuss illegal immigration and its impact on the community. The senator warned that large numbers of illegal immigrants could create “ethnic enclaves” that he believes could contribute to rising crime rates.
