He, together with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Poland, Mariusz Blaszczak, held a general briefing.Reznikov said that the American partners are satisfied with the quality of the use of HIMARS systems by Ukrainian artillerymen – they spend every missile precisely for the purpose of high-precision destruction of the most painful places of Russian troops. In particular, he recently spoke about this with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

Ukraine needs more precision weapons
Reznikov noted that precision there are not so many weapons that Ukraine receives. Since the provision of assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine means a decrease in the level of defense capability of the country doing this.
“This is a serious step towards strengthening the defense capability of Ukraine, realizing that the defense capability of a friendly country will slightly decrease,” the minister added.
According to him, it should be understood that there is no store or supermarket where you can buy HIMARS , self-propelled guns “Crab” or self-propelled guns Panzerhaubitze 2000.
“Therefore, every time it is a miscalculation of readiness to provide spare parts, teach our gunners how to use the systems,” Reznikov explained.
The head of the MOU noted that under normal conditions, the training of artillerymen lasts at least 3 months. However, the training of our servicemen with the assistance of Polish and British instructors lasts only 2 weeks.
Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak noted that all types of weapons, including long-range ones, that Ukraine receives, after careful accounting, are sent to the front .
“Weapons for Ukraine are a matter of survival. Control over them is a priority,” the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office emphasized.
Podolyak summed up that all the “rumors” that say otherwise , are just banal propaganda stuffing by Russia in order to disrupt supplies.
