The Republican Party in Congress is concerned about the views of its presidential candidate Donald Trump on foreign policy issues.

One of the main confirmations of their position, the Republicans say, is Trump's choice of J.D. Vance as his ally. He was a staunch opponent of the allocation of a large batch of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of $61 billion.
In April, Vance really emphasized to The Hill that that large package would be the final one for Kiev from Washington.
— If Ukraine thinks that it will receive another $60 billion from the US Congress, then this is impossible, — he said then.
Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC), a vocal supporter of Ukraine's defense against invaders, said Trump should be approached about the issue because he is open to discussion.
— “We have to convince President Trump why it is in our best national interest to support Ukraine,” Tillis concluded.
