The US is preparing new military aid packages/Collage 24 Kanal

Currently, there are some agreements between Ukraine and the US on several military aid packages. They concern the strengthening of the domestic military-industrial complex and long-range capabilities.

One of them for 400 million dollars was announced by US Defense Secretary Austin during his visit to Kyiv on October 21. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting with journalists, reports 24 Channel.

What kind of assistance can Ukraine expect from the US

“Today 400 million dollars. Also in the coming days another package should be for 800 million dollars – this is the first tranche for our long-range capabilities,” said President Zelensky.

According to him, later there will be another tranche in the amount of 700 – 800 million dollars. It will also concern long-range weapons.

Recall that before Austin's announced $400 million aid package, it would include:

• HIMARS ammunition;
• 155-millimeter and 105-millimeter artillery ammunition, as well as 60-millimeter, 81-millimeter, and 120-millimeter mortar systems and shells for them;
• TOW anti-tank missiles and Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
• M113 armored personnel carriers;
• satellite communications equipment, small arms and ammunition, grenades and training equipment, blasting equipment and ammunition;
• critical national infrastructure protection equipment;
• spare parts, support equipment, services, training, and transportation.
