“And more sanctions will be imposed later,” he added.
The representative’s statement also said that US President Joe Biden has decided to adjust the permits for Ukraine to use long-range missiles.
He confirmed America’s intention to continue to support Ukraine in its fight for freedom and independence.
As part of this commitment, Biden instructed the US Department of Defense to deliver the necessary equipment to Ukraine as quickly as possible to strengthen its defense capability. In the coming months, Ukraine will receive hundreds of thousands of artillery shells, thousands of missiles and other important means of defense.
We are talking about a new aid package in the amount of $725 million. This support should arrive in Ukraine by mid-January.
Recall that on November 21, the US Treasury Department imposed new sanctions against more than 50 Russian banks, more than 40 securities registrars and other officials who are connected to the Russian financial system.
