US President Joe Biden signed a law allocating a $61 billion aid package to Ukraine adopted by the American Congress.
According to him, Ukraine will receive missile systems and the necessary weapons. The Pentagon website contains a list of weapons that are included in the new aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In particular, Ukraine is receiving RIM-7 and AIM-9M air defense missiles, Stinger MANPADS, small arms and additional ammunition, including anti-drone ammunition, HIMARS ammunition, 155-mm artillery shells, including high-explosive and dual-use charges.

The United States will provide Ukraine with 105mm artillery shells, 60mm mortar shells, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, MRAPs and HMMWVs, logistics vehicles, and tactical vehicles for towing and transporting equipment.
The assistance package for Ukraine will include TOW missiles, Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems, precision aircraft munitions, airfield support equipment, mines, Claymore anti-personnel ammunition, demolition munitions for the destruction of obstacles, night vision devices.
At the same time, Ukraine will receive training ammunition, maintenance and other support equipment.
Tranche from the European Commission
The European Commission will provide a tranche of €1.5 billion within the framework of the Ukraine Facility, the total volume of which is €50 billion, said the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
According to her, Ukraine bears a heavy burden for the whole world, so it is vital to support the state when it fights the aggressor.
Ursula von der Leyen assures that Europe remains united and decisive in action in support of Ukraine.

Ban on issuing passports to men abroad
The Cabinet of Ministers issued a resolution that prohibited the transfer of Ukrainian passports or international passports for men aged 18 to 60 years old who are in other countries.
According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, Ukrainian men of military age will be able to obtain passports only at the territorial authority or division of the State Migration Service.

Missile strikes on Kharkov
After the S-300 missile strikes on the Shevchenkovsky district of Kharkov, the number of casualties increased to six people, the OVA reported.
According to the military administration, two enemy missiles hit the ground near residential buildings. Windows were broken in three high-rise buildings, two office buildings, and three non-residential buildings.
Cars and gas mains were damaged in Kharkov, as a result of which utility workers had to turn off gas supply in the neighborhood.
Shelling of Zolochev
On the night of April 24, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Zolochev, Kharkov region.
According to OVA, two S-300 missiles hit the central part of the village.
After the attack on Zolochev, the former local administration building, 10 houses, including two high-rise buildings, and a banking building were partially destroyed. There were no casualties, the OVA noted.
Attack in Odessa
As a result of explosions in Odessa, a woman was injured, and about 30 private residential buildings were damaged by the shock wave, the OVA reported.
In some houses the ceilings fell and windows were broken. A 43-year-old woman was injured due to the shelling and was hospitalized in moderate condition.

Speaker of the Southern Defense Forces Dmitry Pletenchuk believes that the attack on Odessa indicates that Russia is trying to find and strike at the locations of the Ukrainian military.
According to him, the location belongs to the military infrastructure, but it is a storage base for equipment. Pletenchuk assures that there are no more injured military personnel or civilians.
Large fires in Russia
In a number of regions of Russia, a drone attack occurred on the night of April 24. It is known about a fire at the Smolensk oil depot and an attack on the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant.
